Word on the street is that no East Coast Canadian team has ever made it to Europe. Well, Team Sorry is ready to bring kitchen parties, lobsters, and good times from the Maritimes to Amsterdam. We take our sense of humour everywhere we go and have no problem stepping outside of the comfort zone. Our Nova Scotian roots have taught us to find enjoyment in the little things, mainly because there is honestly nothing to do here other than fish, hike, swim, drink (responsibly) and live vicariously through the Trailer Park Boys. Without further adieu, let’s meet the team.
GAB “literally never shuts up” BAILEY is the organizer extraordinaire. A smooth marketing major with enough enthusiasm to bring the dead back to life. LEXI “definitely not a psychopath” PULLEN is calm, cool, and collected. This third wheel is excellent at bringing her teammates back to reality and making “groovy” happen. KINNON “couldn’t ride a bike until he was 13” JOB is a total dad, but far from daddy. This experienced traveller is charming and witty and has no problem living out of a backpack. Despite our differences, we make a better trio than Destiny's Child. Living a life that allows us to push the limits is important to us and no matter where we end up or how far we go, we’re honestly just happy to be here. For 18 reasons and counting on why we can make it check out our team page! INSTAGRAM: @TeamSorry2018
“There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met." - William Butler Yeats (unofficial member of Team Sorry)
I'm a third-year marketing major who has a tendency to take on ridiculous challenges. That's why I decided to test my luck with CYMI18, drop it all and push boundaries along side my amazing teammates. I like to think I am the planner and organizer of the group but I also find myself being freakishly optimistic and overly excited about things. You'll likely find me running 20841593 different social media accounts, running stairs, organizing stuff, petting dogs, planning events, or laughing at my own jokes. I've also recently started bouldering and it is SO dope.
I love challenging myself! I am looking forward to sharing this incredible journey with you all and hopefully giving you plenty of opportunities to laugh with (and maybe at) us along the way. Something I live by is getting comfortable with being uncomfortable and I have no doubt that I'll get to practice that in Europe! SEE YOU IN AMSTERDAM MY DUDES!
I am a 23 year old in my final year of my social work degree. I was born and raised on the east coast of Canada but have had the opportunity to study in criminology and psychology in both Sydney, Australia and Jyväskylä, Finland. Anything to do with the outdoors, sign me up. Whether it is snowboarding, surfing, bouldering, hiking or photography, I am always down for a session.
See you all in Amsterdam pals!!!!
I love to hike, snowboard and experience the outdoors in general. I love a challenge and I am a very competitive person. I am also very outgoing and not afraid to meet new people. Always looking for the next adventure!
