We are Team Rosie.
Three advertising students that are going to show that creativity is all about finding solutions. We are not a long time friendship but, connected by the desire of facing obstacles, make the difference and win, we’ve found a relation that is truly balanced. We’re three girls that don’t spare bravery, determination and optimism to accomplish whatever we want to. We’re ready for the challenge.
My name is Aline, but I could be easily called Alien (my dad is a big fan of this subject), I’m 19, I’m taurean, born and raised in the smallest state of Brazil, Sergipe! I really like here, I just feel that it is too small for me, acctually the world is my place, but it’s fine, little by little I’ll conquer and get to know a bit more of this universe.
I’m an advertising student and I love it, but I’ve already taken two semesters in law school and I have no idea of how someday I thought that this could work. I’m nature, but I’m also big city. I’m exaggerated, loud and sometimes I even make a little drama, but I love myself just like that and for me it’s ok to be extra once in a while. I always gave a little bit of headache to my parents given the fact that I never accept things the way they are, but now they are proud of it. I love cliches, surprises and stories. The greatest of it all is to write my own and realize that this new challenge yet to come, is a movie worth watching.
First of all: Yes, im brazilian. And, no, we are not all carnival muses or Neymar’s cousins. Although, i have a friend who has a friend who already dated one of his cousins haha
Every group has the “good vibes” one and here i am to be this girl. Life’s not always a piece of cake, but i know how to find a desert in the middle of the salad. Someone told me one day that i could easily go trough the worst of the problems while im shaking my body to the sound of Anitta. And, dude, have you ever heard her songs?
Lifeaholic and passionate by people, i believe every day is a new chance for us to hear new stories, wether it is at the bakery row or at the other side of the ocean.
For a long time i tried to fit in, but not every place can handle someone like me. Too much noise for your ears, too much freedom for your judgements, too much hapiness for your complains. Until i realize that my roots are my wings and there was just one place capable of fit me in: the whole world.
“Do you have a valid passport? Can you speak english? I have a propose for you.” These were the words i heard before i got into this crazy experience that it’s being Can You Make It.
My parents still dont get what im doing with my life. Actually, that’s not the first time it happens and not even the second one they dont get it. But they keep believing i know what im doing. To be honest, i dont have a single idea of what is going on, i pretend to be wise and aware of everything that is coming, but on the inside im freaking out and screaming “WTF IS HAPPENING???”. And that makes me happy.
To swim against the tide and to question impositions is part of who I am, and to be determined and free is part of what I was taught. I lived in Peru for a volunteer job, went on adventure in Latin America and traveled through Brazil with less money than I needed. I’m made of the people I met and the places I’ve been, so you can say that I already carry a little bit of the world with me, but this time, the challenge crosses the Atlantic. It makes me nervous, but that’s the satisfaction about adventures.
It’s a pleasure to meet you, i hope you join us on this journey!
