Our group consists of three students at the University of Maryland. Jalen, who is studying Finance, is currently training for his NFL Pro Day after starting 22 games at Linebacker. Tomas is pursuing a master's in Quantitative Finance, and will be consulting for Deloitte in New York. Lastly, Jorge, a double major in Finance and Marketing, will be working on starting up an experiences/entertainment company.
Because all of us are graduating in May, we have been trying to make the most out of our last few months before the "real world." Jorge's role as president of Terpski, the University of Maryland's largest student-run organization, has given us the opportunity to go snowboarding in Colorado, Quebec, Killington, and Whistler over the past few months. We followed up this bender with a four day Vegas trip - our flights being booked three hours before takeoff. We heard about the Can You Make It Challenge and knew that this was for us. With Jalen's energy, Jorge's charisma, and Tomas' intuition, we are excited for the adventure of a lifetime.

Hey all! I recently completed my senior season as a linebacker for the University of Maryland Football team while obtaining a Finance degree! Currently I am finishing a couple classes and training to have a shot at the professional level for football! Off the field I am heavily engaged in entrepreneurship opportunities, working with an awesome up and coming Fintech company called Curu, wherein we are working to automate credit score optimization.
Personally, I am very passionate about traveling and exploring. I am a firm believer that the amount of diverse experiences a person is exposed to builds a respective foundation on which they live their life!
I am a Senior at the University of Maryland and stoked to be a part of this challenge. Outside of school, I'm a big travel and adrenaline junkie. I'm the President of the University of Maryland's Ski and Snowboard Club, Terpski, and have had the luck to ski on multiple continents across the globe. Originally born in Europe, I'm stoked to see what this challenge has in store for us.
I grew up in Rockland County, New York. As the oldest of five siblings, my childhood was a mix of chaos and fun. We all grew up playing a number of sports - from organized ones to made-up games. This has had a tremendous impact on my 'have fun' mindset, and is a large part of why I applied for this competition.
Currently I am a student at the University of Maryland, pursuing a master's degree in Quantitative Finance. I spend my free time running, reading, and watching movies. I will be graduating in May and moving back to New York to do consulting. Before entering the 'real world' I knew I needed to do something out of the ordinary, and here I am! I'm looking forward to this adventure of a lifetime!
