Although it might not seem it, we have only been a day to day team for over half a year, but we have a lot of things in common, one of which is that we feel a bit disgusted with our tutus. The Triple M takes its name after our initials: María, Marta and Mora, three 19 years old International Relations and Communication students from Córdoba (Spain) that met during their first day in college and that believe they are the PowerPuff Girls.
As you can see in our video, we find it difficult to hide our sense of humor, our creativity and our unstoppable desire to have fun, but we see ourselves very capable of achieving any goal we have while assuring that not only us, but all those surrounding us will laugh until the cheeks hurt. We also share our passion for traveling anywhere, trying new things and making new friends and we are totally convinced that we are the ideal participants for these race and that these race is the ideal adventure for three girls like us.
Hey! María Here! I’m an ambitious Netflix series watcher, an outstanding beer drinker and the trip organizer any travel agency would hire, not to mention that I can be a badass in beerpong, I make some chocolate pancakes that are finger-lickin’ good and I never forget my sense of humor at home. As far as you can see, if you ask me to introduce myself I would rarely tell you what my weaknesses are, so I dare you to discover them, but here is a hint: I’m up to anything.
Let’s get serious. I’m not afraid of anything foreign because I don’t think that we belong in only one city or country, but in every place we visit and every person we meet, so this experience will make a difference for many of us. My life motto is to seize every opportunity that gets on my way and my life dream is to travel to every corner of the world for free, so I’m willing to make the most of this journey. The last I can say is that I guess one of my main roles in this adventure will be keeping my mates from killing each other before we get to the finish line and say “straight” when Mora says “left” and Marta insists "right".
Well, remember, Amsterdam is already ours.
Marina to the computer keys, or Mora as my Friends call me.
I am 19 years old, althought I has a Little left to turn 20, and I am studing RRII and COM, degrees that I hope will be useful on the trip. I´m the crazy one, somewhat stubborn but at the same time the most adventurous and “wild” of my team. I love what everyone with my age: going out, eating and drinking, that simple, but if you want to know someting more about me in Instagram: @memolamora.
I love to record everything with me camera and then write it in my adventure journal, so I dont forget anything. Besides my two friends, on this trip my ukelele will accompany me,I could not leave it at home. I'm always making jokes, I take life with a lot of philosophy (created by my of course and no one understands it)
Getting there i sur first idea, but survival is the most important thing.
Amsterdam is already ours.
People say I am ambitious, self-contained, loyal and straightforward. But if I have to describe myself I would say that I am a cheesy person (just because I love cheese), that if I could I would marry my bed and that I would prefer to swim before walk, so maybe that is not my ideal contest. Jokes aside, as my partner María said, one of my dreams is to meet every nook of the world.
I love to collect all the good moments in my memory and I also love to laugh and people with a good sense of humour. Sincerely, don´t know if we are going to cross the finish line but i can assure you that we are going to enjoy this experience as much as possible, because if something unites The Triple M is our passion to live every second as if it was the last.
So.. you just have to remember that Amsterdam is already ours.
